 # Fall Issue 2010 The PHOTO baltic magazine is in the process (draft cover here) of production for the fall issue. The first one issue we want to be in black&white with contents of photojournalists and documentary photographers, one retrospective portfolio of one of them, one emerging photographer, workshops, portfolio reviews of new authors and other subjects. We already selected the paper 170 grs for pages inside MUNKEN rough ARCTIC paper, and 300 grs cover. Applications If you live in baltic countries (Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania) and you are a PRO photojournalist, documentary, or new emerging photographer thinking to becoming to the Photojournalism family, please send us a email with a link of your portfolio or work only for black&white project. Don't send pictures, once you receive our email announcing that you are selected for portfolio review then we will tell you the next step to follow. Criteria selection Advantage for freelance photographers living in the baltics, PRO photojournalist, photographer, documentary, student of photography or photojournalism, good and strong portfolio. Website mission 1. We review portfolio online for a small fee to support the project. This fee for portfolio review will be used for many actions, like pay one person to work in the updating of the site, news, etc. 2. Each photographer selected for portfolio review we will post a only one photo of their more representative work, with a caption and comment about the picture, a link to their website and a brief bio of author. 3. PHOTO baltic is in view of Photo Editors around the world who check daily and weekly updates. If they are interested in your work will communicate with you directly, this is one of our goals, be a bridge between photographers and the community. Deadline submissions The deadline for submit a email application is 30 july 2010. |
